We are an voluntary non-profit team of students and researchers, organizing the Biology22 conference of organismal biology in Switzerland. The conference website address is: https://biology22.ch

We process the personal data that we receive purely within the scope of Biology22 conference organization: registration of participants, organization of conference presentations and poster presentations. We ask for an indication of gender only for fair gender representation among presenters.

For conference attendees that register on our website, we store the personal information they provide in our database. Your data will be retained until the next Biology conference in order to facilitate organization. If you would like to opt-out of storing your data for up to a year, please inform us at the conference desk. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained as long as this website exists.

What rights you have over your data

If you registered for the conference, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
